This guide will help you understand how our moderation works in BloxNShop.

Game Moderation

Moderation in any of our games on Roblox.

Definitions

• Informal warning: Notify the user to stop their behavior, or they will receive a formal warning.
• Formal warning: Warning with the :warn [user] [reason] command in Roblox.

All staff members (Trainee Store Colleague above), have the authority to issue warnings to customers who violate the game moderation rules. Only Management or above have the authority to server ban a user after they have received three warnings.

If a user receives three warnings and there are no management members or above on duty, please request assistance in the #staff-assistance channel.

In the Training Centre, only the host and trainers are permitted to moderate.

Disrespectful behaviour

Includes the use of slurs, negative messages/voice chat, and any form of hate against community members.

• Step 1: Issue an informal warning.
• Step 2: Issue a formal warning (up to 3 times).
• Step 3: Server ban the user after reaching 3 formal warnings.

Disruptive behaviour

Involves interrupting the store’s operation, which includes stealing and trolling, particularly at the EAS gate or within the store facility.

• Step 1: Issue an informal warning.
• Step 2: Issue a formal warning (up to 3 times).
• Step 3: Server ban the user after reaching 3 formal warnings.

Inappropriate behaviour

Covers harassment or any inappropriate actions towards other customers/staffs.

• Step 1: Issue an informal warning.
• Step 2: Issue a formal warning (up to 3 times).
• Step 3: Server ban the user after reaching 3 formal warnings.

Inappropriate clothing

Includes any clothing that contains inappropriate images, slurs, or violates Roblox Terms of Use.

• Step 1: Report the user using the in-game avatar report function.
• Step 2: Instruct them to change their clothes.
• Step 3: Issue a formal warning (up to 3 times).
• Step 4: Server ban the user after reaching 3 formal warnings.

Spamming

Refers to sending the same message repeatedly and flooding the chat. Advertising in chatrooms will also count as such.

• Step 1: Issue an informal warning.
• Step 2: Issue a formal warning and mute the user using the :mute [user] Spamming command (up to 3 times)
• Step 3: Server ban the user after reaching 3 formal warnings.

Glitching

This applies if the user has gained access to a restricted area without permission.

• Step 1: Reset the user.
• Step 2: Server ban the user if the behavior continues.

Bypassing chat filters

This applies if the user is sending innapopriate words and therefore bypassing the Roblox chat filter.

• Step 1: Report the user using the chat report function.

Exploiting and Hacking

Using third-party programs to alter the gameplay of your Roblox client is considered hacking.

• Step 1: Report the user using the in-game report function.
• Step 2: Server ban user
• Step 3: Request game-ban in management portal

(Notice: If you don’t have admin permission and no management is active, please report it directly to the Developers or Owners by pinging them in the server. You will not face any penalties for doing so.)

Violating the Roblox Terms of Use

This counts as violating the Roblox Terms of Use.

• Report them immediately to Roblox Support.

Violating the Roblox Community Standards

This counts as violating the Roblox Community Standards.

• Report them immediately to Roblox Support.

Guide to reporting on Roblox

In-game Reports

To report an user in-game, follow the following steps:

1. Go to the report menu by either: opening the Roblox menu and pressing report/flag icon next to player, selecting the player from the leaderboard and pressing on report
2. Fill out the fields (be as detailed as possible, a few extra words can go a long way)

Website Reports

To report an user on the Roblox website, follow the following steps:

1. Find the user on the Roblox website by searching their name in the search bar
2. Press the three dots on the left of the user card
3. Select “Report Abuse”
4. Fill out the fields (be as detailed as possible, a few extra words can go a long way)

Chat Reports

To report an individual chat message, follow the following steps:

1. Press on the three dots on the chatbox
2. Select “Report Abuse”
3. Select the chat message you wish to report
4. Fill out the fields (be as detailed as possible, a few extra words can go a long way)

EU Reports

If you want to report illegal activity and you are a citizen in a EU member country, you can use the EU report function to report players. This will guarantee you an human response by law.

In-Game

1. Go to the report menu by either: opening the Roblox menu and pressing report/flag icon next to player, selecting the player from the leaderboard and pressing on report
2. Click on the blue “Report illegal content under the EU Digital Services Act.” button.
3. Select report type
4. Fill out all required fields

2. Fill out the URL and type of report fields
3. Fill out all other required fields

Once you submit your report, provided that you submit valid contact information, you will receive a confirmation email, an update on the outcome of your report, and, as applicable, the opportunity to appeal our decision.
